Nice to meet you! I’m Shaun, owner and founder of Our House Clearance.
Having spent 25 years behind a desk as a relationship manager, I spent a long time making customers happy from afar.
It wasn’t until I got into clearances that I really found the value in helping people. I get to see exactly what a difference my services can do for people.
I meet a lot of people when they’re going through a difficult time, because they have lost a loved one or they’re having to move a family member into care. It’s such a stressful time for them as it is and when I can do something to relieve a bit of that stress it truly heart warming. When we’re done you can see a weight lifted off their shoulders.
It’s a funny thing to say but I actually enjoy the really messy jobs. We’ve had jobs where at the beginning of the week we literally can’t see the floor, but at the end of it the whole place is transformed. There’s a real sense of achievement when it’s done.
